We rescued 'Soldier Boy' from the Pound recently and booked him in for Desex, Microchip and Vaccination.
During his consultation with the Vet, a nurse discovered that 'Soldier Boy' was unhappy about having his 'Left Shoulder/Leg' touched.
After further investigation under Anaesthetic... a Bullet was removed from his shoulder.
It appears that a heartless individual had shot at him.
We were absolutely mortified upon hearing this news... and unfortunately this isn't the first Bullet that Vets have removed from a cat we have rescued.
Sally had a condition which caused her eye lids to have excessive skin and the eye lids roll into her eye socket causing the eyelashes and hair to irritate and potentially damage the eyes.
Also her eyes are abnormally very small which then causes the eyelids and lashes to curl into the eye socked even more.
Sally was booked to have her Surgery next week...
We'll keep you updated.
Her Surgery is estimated to cost
UPDATE:
Sally had her Surgery 1 week ago and has recovered very well. Sally is the naughtiest little kitten now that she can see... she plays endlessly with toys and her siblings.
Honey is a very timid girl who was out for an evening walk with her Foster Carer. Suddenly without warning a large stray dog attacked Honey and her Foster Carer. Honey was hospitalised and underwent surgery. If you are able to help pay for Honeys Surgery we will be forever grateful.
Honeys hospital stay, surgery and treatment cost us $5482.88
HAPPY ENDING:
Honeys foster carer has officially adopted her.
Baby Oreo tested positive to Feline parvo (Panleukopenia)... at his tiny size and only being 5-6 weeks old, the chances of survival were almost ZERO. With supportive care from our Team, Oreo survived the killer virus and is the happiest most playful Kitten imaginable.
The average cost for each Kitty treated for this killer virus is $3,000.
Pearl is a very elderly girl. When we rescued her, she was suffering from emaciation, dehydration due to explosive Diarrhea and vomiting. She couldn't eat or drink independently and couldn't even get herself to her Kitty Litter in time.
Klaus had been sadly left behind at a retirement village after his owner passed away and no family came to collect him. He would scavenge for food and neighbours would feed him.
Klaus got his head stuck in wiring and caused severe lacerations on each side of his neck. Klaus underwent 2 Surgeries to clean and Stitch up the damage he had done.
He's a spicy little chilli 🌶 so he needed sedation for each Vet Visit.
UPDATE:
He's currently in our rehabilitation program learning to trust Humans again, so one day he can love again.
We'll keep you updated...
Angel was rescued from a drain. He was cold, scared, very underweight and sick. We treated Angelo for emaciation, and very sore ears. His ears were hairless and covered in horrendous scabs from a Ringworm infection.
